Vertical Jump Park is not just about extreme competition and awesome tricks – we’re also obsessed with keeping our jumpers safe. Trampolines can be dangerous, so we’ve had to set some rules and regulations for all jumpers. We’ve also designed our park to not only give our jumpers extra air, but also to reduce the hazards associated with trampolines. We at Vertical Jump Park promise that we will continually work to ensure a safe environment through superior facilities, training, and operations – all while still providing extreme fun!
Bouncing, flipping and racing on our extreme courts can be dangerous – but not if you play it safe. Make sure that all court rules have been read and understood before attempting any awesome tricks. Failure to follow these rules can result in wiping out in front of your friends, serious injury or getting kicked out of Vertical Jump. The rules are posted all over the place, so no excuses!
We want everyone to have a great time, but we ask that you do not jump if you have health limitations, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs or if you are pregnant. You should be in control of your body at all times.
Also, we never want you to attempt any trick or activity outside of your personal limitations, abilities or skill level. Master the fundamentals of single trampoline jumping before moving onto more advanced skills, such as aerial or flipping type skills. Once you’ve got the basics, we know you’ll do great at the rest; however, perform at your own risk. Flips and other tricks can be dangerous.
We know you’re an expert jumper, but accidents happen and your parents worry. That’s why each of our courts are monitored by trained trampoline specialists, tasked with enforcing the rules in a courteous manner. You should NEVER jump if a court monitor is not present!
You also MUST follow any and all instructions from the Court Monitor. He or she will make sure that you are having fun while following the rules. The Court Monitor can remove you from a court if you attempt any of the following:
Vertical Jump is all about keeping it clean and safe. That’s why bare feet or regular socks are not allowed. Instead, our jumpers must purchase a pair of our Vertical Jump ® grip socks, which are available for purchase at the park for. Once purchased, you may bring them for use at future visits….provided you’ve washed them and they are in good order!
It’s also important that you wear the proper clothing while jumping. You should always empty all of your pockets before heading onto a court and you will not be allowed to jump if you are wearing wet clothes or body paint. You also can not have anything in your mouth while jumping, such as gum or candy.
Vertical Jump wants everyone to have fun, whether you’re battling to the death or content just bouncing around. That’s why we ask you to follow some basic courtesy rules while jumping. Always maintain only one person per square and walk onto and off the courts rather than running. When bouncing and flipping off trampoline side walls, land on the first trampoline next to the wall you bounced from. Never land on your head or neck or touch any perimeter netting or top pads.
We want all of our jumpers be aware of those around you and only jump with people that are of similar age and size. Everyone should not only follow the safety rules at all times, but also make sure everyone else is safe too. So, if you observe anyone violating house or court safety rules, let someone know so everyone can keep staying awesome.
